Building a dealer network? Put floor plan in the pitch.

Dealers weigh how they'll finance inventory before they take on a new line. If floor plan is already lined up, that's one less reason to say no.

The short answer

Line up a floor plan lender before you sign dealers, so financing is part of the offer. Dealers apply on one page with your name on it, and Vero runs the program behind it. Lenders will want to see a product that's already selling and a realistic plan for year one.

What a dealer asks before signing

The first question is almost always about money. A new line asks a dealer to put inventory on the lot before a single unit sells, and their own bank may not want to finance a brand it doesn't know yet. So a program that already exists answers the first question before they ask it.

  • QHow will I finance the stock you want me to carry?
  • QWhat's the opening order, and when is it due?
  • QWho do I call when a funding request gets stuck?
  • QWhat happens to units that don't sell this season?

What you can offer a new dealer on day one

A lender already lined up

The dealer applies to a program that exists, instead of shopping your line to their own bank.

One link in the onboarding pack

A program page with your name on it, where dealers apply and find the team that services their account.

A portal for funding and payoffs

Dealers request funding and pay off units on VeroOS, with a Vero servicing team behind them.

Where to start

Bring the dealers you're signing first. That's enough for a lender to start looking.

Questions from manufacturers building a network

How many dealers do we need before a lender will look at us?

There's no single number, and every lender sets its own minimums. A clear list of your first dealers, with locations and expected opening orders, is the place to start.

Can we launch the program and the network at the same time?

Yes, and it's the easier order of operations. Dealers sign onto a line that already exists instead of being asked to find their own floor plan later.

Who runs dealer onboarding?

Vero does, on VeroOS: applications, document collection and line setup. The lender makes the credit decision on each dealer.

Does Vero lend the money?

No. A lending partner funds the program and makes every credit decision. Vero runs it day to day.

Tell us about the network you're building

We'll reply within one business day with a straight answer on whether a lender we work with is a fit, or what it would take to get there.

Vero isn't a lender. Our lending partners make every credit decision and set program terms. Sending this form isn't a credit application.

Thanks. We'll read this today and reply within one business day.
